InterMute

InterMute is a commercial web filtering product developed by Internet Mute, Inc. The product retails at $19.95 and is available for Windows 95/NT and Unix platforms. Like Muffin, InterMute is an HTTP proxy which filters requests received from web browsers and can filter HTTP headers and content such as HTML and GIF images. InterMute also allows its filters to be enabled or disabled for all sites or on a site-by-site basis. The only downside to InterMute is that users cannot add their own custom filters, they can only select from the filters provided.
