HTML 4.0[13] is the latest version of HTML developed by the World Wide Web Consortium. Released in late 1997, HTML 4.0 includes several new features such as style sheets, frames, embedded objects, scripting, and improved accessibility for people with disabilities. Style sheets provide enhanced document presentation by allowing authors and users more control over fonts, alignment, and colors. Embedded objects provide a standard way to incorporate generic data objects in documents. Examples of such objects are images and small applications.
